Teak + Bracket

Teak + Bracket is a set of two magazines created in Zach Dodson's Publication Design course at Columbia College Chicago. The class was formatted to mimic a real publication company, where each person applied for and was given a job title. The class was split into two groups meant to create two separate publications. We decided to do things a little differently and work together to produce two themed magazines that worked as whole when packaged together. The Teak edition focused on a more natural theme, while Bracket showcased an urban theme. As creative director of Teak, I was responsible for logo development, overall look and feel, task delegation, and content management.
